Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes - Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash - it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Verdict: As it tries to redeem itself from previous DC films, it sure does justice to the DC Universe. DC's fifth installment, Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, with an ensemble cast at hand. With an estimated production budget of $300 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made. Did you []... ...Read full review
Amidst all the superhero movie mayhem we`ve vividly experienced for over a decade, it`s not a stretch to say that no comic book event has been as highly anticipated as seeing the Justice League come together on film. Sure, the build-up has been shaky along the way, but fans of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) saw a distinct glimmer of hope with `Wonder Woman` earlier this year. ...Read full review
As lifelong fans of these characters an arrangement that affords the filmmakers certain liberties, yes, but also makes them vulnerable to more scrutiny weve shrugged at Man of Steel and weve seethed at Batman v Superman, weve tolerated Suicide Squad and weve celebrated Wonder Woman. ...Read full review
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice concerned itself laboriously and lengthily with man playing god. And then, Superman died. What is to be done then but to resurrect him? ...Read full review
"Hope is like car keys, you think you`ve lost it but if you look for it it`s always nearby..." these are the lines by none other than Superman which opens Justice League and half an hour in the film you get to know why. Throughout the film you keep the faith that the grandeur which was promised is `somewhere near` and it does show up, just not in the manner you expected. ...Read full review
One of the most fantastically absurd things about the 1960s Batman television show is the way Cesar Romero, who plays The Joker, does so defiantly with a moustache in place. Known in his youth for playing a Latin lover, the actor - who could, it is said, rival Fred Astaire on the dance floor - refused to shave his moustache, and thus the man who played The Joker on screen the most often did so with white facepaint barely hiding his hairy upper lip. ...Read full review
A passionate spark of frenemy-bromance between the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader was famously created in the last DC adventure, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, when these two legends discovered their mums had the same first name: Martha. That somewhat anticlimactic coincidence was widely considered to be indicative of something unconvincing in the whole project. The problems are still evident. ...Read full review
Its hard to overstate how disappointing the Justice League movie is. With classic, all time favourite characters, this is a franchise that should have set a very high bar for superhero filmmaking, and yet with every subsequent film, the DCU seems more and more tiresome. ...Read full review
A man I knew used to say that hope was like your car keys, quips Superman (Henry Cavill) at the beginning of Justice League, into a cameraphone clutched by a couple of flustered schoolboy fans. Its easy to lose, but if you dig around, its usually close by. ...Read full review
Justice League, which marks the much-awaited team-up of ultimate DC superheroes Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg, is both more coherent and a good deal more fun than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. ...Read full review
