Main Aur Charles, featuring Randeep Hooda as the charming cold-blooded conman and murderer who killed at least ten tourists on a hippie trail in India, Thailand and Nepal in the 1970s, is that and more: Its decidedly convoluted, thoroughly confusing and at times crackling. This is one of the rare Bollywood films that doesnt overexplain and leaves a lot unsaid. Serial killers have always inspired iconic movies. Zodiac, The Silence Of The Lambs and Psycho are often cited as perfect examples when this topic comes up. Surprisingly, Bollywood hasn`t really tapped into this goldmine. There have been, of course, movies like Dushman, Kaun and more recently, Ek Villain that have been made on this theme, but all the killers in the said films have been works of fiction.
