Welcome to `Mayabazaar,` the new film from Mammootty. The super actor who was little disturbed by the colossal flop of his last movie `Parunthu` is coming up with this slick entertainer which is all set to satisfy his entire fans with right mass masala ingredients. The movie is a humorous journey through the life of men in `Mayabazaar`, a market where scrap or parts of worn out vehicles are sold.Directed by debutant Thomas Sebastian, the film with apt amount of action, comedy, songs and sentiments was shot in Pollachi and Kochi. Mammootty dons the role of a man called Rameshan who buys old cars, dismantles them and sells the parts. Rameshan is the son of Akri Damodharan (Rajan P Dev) who migrated to Mayabazaar from Cherpulassery. Akri Damadharan is a typical character who occasionally steals money from his son and sets on for pilgrimages.Whenever Rameshan finds his father on long tours he is very sure that some of his money is already stolen.
