Ana Bertha Lepe Jimenez was a famous Mexican actress well known for her work during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema as well as for her roles in prominent telenovelas. She made her debut in La justicia del lobo (1952). Over the years, Lepe gained wide recognition through her performances in movies such as Lo que le paso a Sanson (1955), The Viscount of Monte Cristo (1954), Tinieblas (1957), La nave de los monstruos (1960) and El Patrullero 777 (1978). In 1953, she even became the third runner-up at the Miss Universe contest. After a long and illustrious career, Lepe passed away in 2013 at the age of 79.
