An English actor and producer, Edward Joh Speelers, better known by his screen name Ed Speelers is best known for his playing the title role in the 2006 film Eragon and the Emmy award-winning TV series Downton Abbey. Having made his debut on the silver screen with Eragon, over the years, he starred in films like Love Bite (2012), Remainder (2015), Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) and Breathe (2017), a biographical drama directed by Andy Serkis. His 2020 release includes For Love or Money. Apart from films, Speleers has also worked in several TV series` mostly in supporting roles. Speleers made his debut on the silver screen with Moving Wallpaper in 2008 and his other notable small screen appearances include Witchville (2010), Agatha Christie`s: Partners in Crime (2015) and Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016).
