Dinesh Singh has been active in the field of theatre for over 40 years. He began his journey representing Khalsa College in intercollegiate drama competitions from 1981 to 1986 before joining Yavnika Theatre in 1986. Under the Yavnika banner, Dinesh performed in iconic plays such as Juloos, Baki Itihaas, Sagina Mahato, and Ek Chadar Maili Si. In 2000, he took over the reins of Yavnika Theatre and has since organized five 4-day theatre festivals at the Urban Hatt Belapur Amphitheatre, promoting diverse talents in mime, monoacts, plays, skits, dance, and music. As a director, Dinesh has helmed over 60 short plays in Hindi, Marathi, and English, along with notable full-length productions like *Open Couple* (English), *End of Season* (Marathi), *Bakri* (Hindi), and *Ek Ruppaiyya* (Hindi Marathi). His writing portfolio includes acclaimed works like *Case Number Ala Fala*, *Maanuski*, and several childrens plays. Dinesh has earned numerous awards for acting, direction, and set design in state-level competitions. He has also appeared in the Hindi serial *Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi*, Marathi serial *Kahe Diya Pardesh*, and films such as *Saaya*, *Murder*, *88 Antop Hill*, and *Hamari Adhuri Kahani*.
