Dr M Sayeed Alam is an active theatre practitioner in the capacities of Writer, Director and Actor since 1994. Ever since, he has performed in more than 1,500 shows of about 50 plays. He is acknowledged in particular for giving many original plays to Hindi and Urdu Theatre. His plays have been performed widely in India and abroad. His prominent works on stage include: Ghalib In New Delhi, K L Saigal, Maulana Azad, Cut...Cut...Cut, Big B, Ghalib, Lal Qile Ka Aakhri Mushaera, Ghalib Ke Khat, Sons of Babur, A Private Affair, Musha-Era, Sir Iqbal, Pakistan Aur Alzheimers, Shah Jahan o -Mumtaz, Tumko Chahoon, Chacha Chchakkan In Action, Maulana Azad Ke Qalam Se, Padiye Agar Beemar.
