Gauley Bhai is a 4 member Bangalore-based band formed in 2017. Veecheet Dhakal on Vocals and Violin, Siddhant Chettri on Guitar, Anudwatt Dhakal on Bass Guitar and Joe Panicker on Drums - they are currently working on their first album in Bangalore, called La Paharey, literally translating to take it... hill man in Nepali.
Their music is inspired by the Nepali Folk and contemporary genres such as Soul and RnB. Their songs lie in the spaces they inhabit - individual, social and political. Their music is shaped by their roots and influences and an attempt to reflect on the spaces we share, beyond borders of geography and language.
They also like to make people dance!
