An American TV and Film actor, producer, and actor, Jacob Jake Kasdan started his career as an actor with The Big Chill (1983), and later starred in films like Silverado (1985), and The Accidental Tourist (1988). The actor-turned-director made his directorial debut with Zero Effect (1998), which also marked her debut as a producer. His other notable film credits as a director include Orange County (2002), The TV Set (2006), Bad Teacher (2011), and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). Apart from films, Kasdan has also directed several TV series' include Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000), Cracking Up (2006), New Girl (2011), Weird Loners (2015), The Grinder (2015-16).
