Lautaro Tissera is one of the most prominent virtuosos guitarists for contemporary Tango and Music Argentinian. Lautaros mixture of his native Tango, Milonga, and other folk rhythms with classical music enthralls audiences all over the world.
A guitarist with a brilliant technique and a composer, Lautaro flavours his music with influences from the Argentian Tango, Milonga, Chacareras, Zambas and conteporanea harmonies. His musical language is an expressive and exciting way of combining his musical heritage with a rich, intelligent use of harmonic textures, tango roots and his superb guitarist technique. His music is mainstream tango first and foremost, propelled by an infectious Rioplatense tinge and a contemporary sense of Canyengue that reflects his effervescent personality.
Lautaro Tissera was born in La Plata (Argentina) and studied at the School of music Popular of Avellaneda earning a degree of Professor in Popular Argentinian Music. Since his debut in 2005, he has become a recognised musician performing regularly at festivals throughout the Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean. He has recorded in Solo, Duo, Trio and Big Band Tango Orchestra. Lautaro is founder and director artistic of the Espacio Cultural Don Juan, located in La Plata. His path within Argentinian music, guided by tango and Argentinian folk rhythms, has offered him many opportunities to share on stage musical experiences in the company of famous artists such as Ral Barboza, Sexteto Mayor, Rodolfo Mederos.
