Meghnad Bhattacharya is a veteran director/actor at Indian theatre since 50 years. He was an executive member of Sangeet Natak Academy (Govt. of India, New Delhi) and Paschim Banga Natya Academy (West Bengal). Till date, Meghnad has directed 32 plays, acted in 55 films, TV serials and 35 plays in India, USA, UK, Canada, Kuwait, Bangladesh, and so on. He has won 20 awards to date. Some of his legendary plays are Daibaddha, Basbhumi, Karnabati, Premkatha, Dui Hujurer Gappo and many more.
