Nikhil Baran Sengupta, Born on 13 December 1943 in Chittagong, Bangladesh, was a Art director and Production Designer in Hindi and Bengali films. He was awarded the Best Art Director for "Janani" and was honoured with the Guru Kelu Charan award in the lifetime achievement category in 2009. He has also appeared as an actor in movies like Pari Mahal (2003) and The Square Circle (1996).
