Sanjeev Johri, trained at the beginning of his theatre with personalities like Pankaj Kapoor, Nadira Zaheer Babbar, and B.V.Karanth. As a young adult, he honed his skills under the watchful eyes of masters like Rajinder Nath and Barry John. he has played the lead in several major productions such as Vijay Tendulkar's 'Sakharam Binder' and Girish Karnad's 'Nag mandala'.
