and has become the most gracious actress on Bengali stage. She acted with great fame in many Bengali and Hindi plays and
is best known for her role in recent plays like Dharmashok, Tathagata, Chotushpap, Mulya, Noti Kiransashi, Badnam Manto, Echcher oli goli, Oedipus, Ila guroisha, Saptaparnee, and Putuler Chithi, etc. She is the prime actor of Rangapat and playing the centre character in this play, Medea.
