Shaheen Dill-Riaz, attended military boarding school in Comilla(Bangladesh). He got enrolled in the International film festival in Dhaka and worked as a film journalist in Bangladesh. He had a desire to learn the German language, hence he enrolled himself in Berlin Goethe Institute for a two-month language course in Germany. During his time in Germany he also studied Indian art history and theater studies.
Shaheen Dill-Riaz, won many awards for his short films and his documentary work. As soon as he got his recognition, he got invited by many Institutions to teach in the same field.
