Vedhika Kumar is an actress with a versatile experience of working in the Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu film industries. She made her debut through the Tamil film Madrasi (2006) but got her breakthrough through her role in Pardesi (2013). Her other major credits include leading roles in blockbuster movies such as Shivalinga (2016), Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), James and Alice (2016) and many more. She has won several awards and has been nominated for many more. Her recent film Kanchana 3 (2019), opposite Raghava Lawrence, earned close to 138 crores at the box office. She has worked with award-winning directors like Bala, Vasantabalan and also worked in two A. R. Rahman musical films. Her 2019 releases include The Body and Ruler.
