Aadab Main Premchand Hoon
Jeevan Ka Shap (Laalat)
Once again Munshi Premchand writes a very bold story which presents the reason for an extramarital affair. Kawasji starts losing his interest in Gulshan, whereas Gulshan is good at heart but very straight forward and takes Kawasji for granted. Sometimes she doesn't think before speaking and as a reason, she yells at Kawasji every time and tells him whatever comes to her mind. Kawasji gets irritated and starts liking Sirin Bano who is comparatively more beautiful, bubbly, sophisticated and has a better understanding but besides all the good qualities, Sirin Bano isn't happy with Shapurji because Shapurji is more involved with his social life and doesn't care about Sirin Bano. Shapurji wants to enjoy his life to the fullest, he drinks, attend hi-class parties and never entertains Sirin Bano or takes her along with him. But at the end, Gulshan successfully makes Kawasji understand and brings him back home!
It's a family comedy about a husband and his wife. The husband always thinks he is superior to his wife and he is always correct. The wife has her own way of dealing with day-to-day activities which the husband doesn't like and as a reason they quarrel every day. This quarrel makes the audience laugh!
Munshiji has highlighted the truth of the 21st century in the 19th century about two brothers who used to love each other when they were young but after they grow up, they end up spoiling their relationship because of a property.
