Big Fish

Big Fish is a new Broadway Musical, based on the BAFTA-nominated 2003 film directed by Tim Burton. The Musical won Best Stage at the 2021 Korean Musical Awards, Drama Desk & Jimmy Award nominations for Best Lead Actor and Best Orchestration. It also bagged 5 awards, including Best Musical for the National Schools Musical ‘Gene Kelly Awards ’2023.

This is Bethany High’s 11th Musical production and it promises to keep audiences spell bound with compelling acting, soaring vocals, an infectious live band & choir, edge-of-the- seat choreography, gymnastics and artistic sets! The entire cast of over 140 members, are solely from Bethany’s talent pool of students, alumni & Teachers!

The story revolves around the spectacular world of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman, who’s not-so real stories involve fantastical characters like a mermaid, a giant, witches, a circus but anchored to the love of his life, Sandra. The conflict in the tale lies with his son Will, who finds it hard to separate the myth from the man. It is a 360° family entertainer with a heartfelt, huggable story!
