Brachio: The Story of a Lighthouse is a play for children built on the principles of social justice and equity, using an important element of childhood - a person’s height. This story is about the hope that friendship offers to heal a fractured, divided society, told through an individual’s discovery of what makes one special.
In a seaside village celebrating the lighthouse’s birthday, three best friends – Momo, Jojo, and the tall Brachio – find their friendship is threatened when Lolo the ladderseller brings ladders and Ringo the circusmaster brings opportunity to the village.
Join us on a visual, musical journey, as we play games, sing songs, climb ladders, perform tricks and wave at ships. Open to people of all heights. Come with your friends, because friendship is important.
