About
An adaptation of Shrilal Shukla’s landmark novel of the same name authored in 1968. It is a satirical take on the politics and society of a fictional village in the post-Independent era and continues to be relevant till date. The dastan also includes works of Mushtaq Ahmad Yusufi, Ibn e Khaldun, Baba Nagarjun, Kedarnath Singh, Sauda, Jafar Zatalli, Plato and Machiavelli.
