About The Event
Dayashankar Ki Diary is the story of a young man from small town. He comes to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in the film industry but ends up in a clerical job in a government office. Soon, Dayashankar gets fed up with his job and his inability to chase his dream takes a toll on his mental health. He starts daydreaming and eventually gets trapped in them, slowly losing touch with reality. He falls in love with an MLA`s daughter Sonia and befriends her dog. Dayashankar gradually loses his mental stability. What happens when he comes to know of Sonia`s wedding and how the news affects his life for the worse, is what the play is all about.
