Anita, a 35-year-old artist, lives in an upper-middle-class bungalow with her domestic help, Vishnu, and her paying guest-turned-friend, Mansi. She is still grieving the loss of her husband, Satish Sarnaik, an artist who passed away in a tragic accident. Her life takes an unexpected turn when Vikram, an ambitious yet struggling young artist from Baroda, enters her life. He initially sneaks into her house, surviving off her resources for days without her knowledge. Once caught, he confesses, and Anita, recognizing his extraordinary artistic talent, offers him a job in her art studio.
Vikram’s presence begins to shift the dynamics of Anita’s household. His charm, confidence, and uncanny resemblance to Satish—particularly in his carefree attitude and passion for art affects Anita deeply. Meanwhile, Vikram and Mansi share a hidden romantic relationship, leaving Mansi torn between her loyalty to Anita and her feelings for Vikram.
As Anita’s business flourishes with Vikram’s help, she finds herself drawn to him, challenging her own emotions and long-standing grief. At the same time, concerns about Vikram’s ethics arise. The story unfolds as Anita navigates this moral dilemma, her evolving relationship with Vikram, and the question of whether she is ready to move on from her past.
