Goruru

Goruru, a play based on Goruru Ramaswamy Iyengar’s “Namma Oorina Rasikaru” book and other works, deals with the experience of writer Ramaswamy Iyengar’s daily life of Goruru in a satirical and humour way. Set in pre-independence India, the play delves into the enchanting world of Gorur, presenting a romantic ambience enriched with diverse characters, their idiosyncrasies, experiences, ordinary routines, and aspirations. Despite encountering quirky situations in their daily lives, the inhabitants of Goruru coexist harmoniously, coming together to collectively resolve their challenges.
