A Kannada play by S.N. Sethuram
a social play set in the present urban back drop. The play opens up as an interaction of an old man of 80 years of age with his granddaughter, who though well educated, is not employed and not yet married. It is an effort to chronicle the influence of various changes in post-independence India on urban middle-class families. The story revolves around their aspirations, dreams, disappointments and frustrations.
The play is of 90 minutes duration with only two characters – the granddaughter and her grandfather.
