"Are you watching closely?" asks Satyasheel, an aging actor gifted with the vision of blindness. "Isn't closeness subjective to vision" replies Paritosh, a dynamic dramatist gifted with the sorrows of identity. From Abhimanyu's dilemma and Eklavya's certainty on the blood-soaked soil of Kurukshetra to Paritosh's grudge and Satyasheel's vision on the holy confluence of Prayag, 'Kaumudi' is a tale that bridges the past and present and encompasses the complexities of emotions. Experience the battle between the characters and the actors of the epic not in Kurukshetra but on stage as they escape from mirage of sight to vision of blindness.

A small lie can bring about a catastrophic change in the lives of people like how a wrong note can ruin the whole song. The play, set in a rural backdrop, revolves around the unusual relationship of two friends, Vaibhav and Sukhdev. The former being the son of an upper caste village head, and the latter being a lower caste local. The play deals with their courtship and how prevalent casteism and patriarchy in our society ruin the lives of the two young individuals. A satirical ride into the darkest demons lurking on the edge of our so-called civilised society.
