Maybe This Summer
The play explores the nature and complexities of such a relationship. Is this a meaningful way of living? Should they get married or go in separate ways? How strong is the emotional bonding of such a relationship?
Both the characters belong to the city and carry the conditioning of their upbringing in them. The man and woman have different values. Whose values must revel? Can this space ever become a home? Can they ever make a home?
The play is about these questions and the tentativeness of such relationships that can't be defined. The play also brings out the conflict between moral and social cultural values and individual freedom.
