Synopsis
The short story ‘The System of Dr.Tarr and Prof.Fether’ is about a mental institution. Our unnamed narrator decides to venture into an asylum to inspect it, and ends up meeting the superintendent and his colleagues. What follows is a nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat mystery. It is also a satire.
