This play portrays A beautifully knit interpersonal relationships within a family. A husband who is never there for the family. A helpless mother who tries to find solace in her daughter's wedding. A brother who passionately tries to safeguard his sister from the ill-doings of the father but fails to win over the sense of hatred and revenge. A sister who is a young beautiful educated girl is torn between her gratitude towards her brother for giving her education and her mother whose pain she realizes by each passing day. The various groom prospects that she encounters due to her father's social position, money, debts, her brother's hatred, and revenge, her dilemmas about understanding her brother and mother from the crux of the play. The pain that each character deeply suffers, the social implications of an impending marriage, the oscillating trust and distrust among the characters in the preview of unavoidable circumstances.
