We are connected to the world through our defined identities and use all kinds of notions to defend, save, and amplify them. The performer observes that addressing these notions becomes extremely difficult, as they are intangible. Can we see them? Can we figure them out? Can we stop them? This devised solo performance draws on one woman’s name, rage and journey of mowing through religion, region, caste, gender and race. In an episodic format, she reflects on these to deconstruct invented notions of purity, superiority, and the power hierarchies that run the world.
