“Ooru Suttaru Hanumappa Horaga” is a 4th big production of the team “Vishwapatha Kala Sangama”. Directed by one of the eminent “Ninasam” personality ‘Bhaskar Ninasam’.
The story grows around the statue of Lord Hanuman which is geographically and emotionally located between 2 villages called Vajramatti and Dharegatti. The statue is worshipped by both the villagers, suddenly get disappeared over the night – which is actually being stolen by the people of Dharegatti. This issue goes to the police station. According to laws of the Police, Hanuman becomes the real culprit for the issue. So police arrest Hanuman and take him to jail.
Innocent people who are completely addicted to worship lord cannot resist themselves by being worshipping Hanuman. They start visiting Police station itself to worship lord! After few days police station turns to Temple literally. Police become clueless to avoid this situation. They take this case to court.
Villagers are not rich/ middle-class people to full fill the fees which is demanded by the court. They lose all their property in order to arrange money. When they lose everything, they become empty hand. Starts migrating to the places like Goa, Bengaluru in order to earn the daily needs. None of them stay back to monitor the case of Hanuman!
In the end, judgment of the court is the real suspense and interesting part of the play. The complete play is narrated in a comic genre and various theatrical patterns.
