In the play `Park` penned by Manav Kaul, a young man with an unsettled mind, a Maths teacher who dabbles in psychology and a man desperate for a quiet siesta find themselves together in a park.
As they bicker over where each should sit, strangers become confidantes. They struggle to claim a spot that offers them a respite from their troubles. A metaphor for a larger struggle they find themselves in – to break free from the mould that they are slotted into in life. To be what they are. Not what they are forced to be.
