The present play "Rangajanagamana sthavara" is a unique experiment to realise B.V.Karanth's personality through the characters in the plays he directed and the songs he himself composed for the plays.

Sri B.V.Karanth is one of the very rare theatre experts in our country. He began his theatrical journey with the professional theatre,  joined Delhi's National School of Drama and later on became its Director. He gained abundant experience in all aspects of theatre. His contribution to the Indian Theatre has been immense. Besides he is one of the pioneers of Modern Kannada Theatre.

There is a story in this experiment that is related to theatre. The actor, the character, the playwright, theatre music and such others are the characters of this play. B.V.Karanth's opinions about the theatre are the dialogues of this experiment.

The characters in this experiment try to bring out B.V.Karanth's personality and the theatre life he lived through their inquiry of the theatre within and about themselves.
