Rashomon, a play by Fay and Michael Kanin (based on two Japanese stories Rashomon and In a Grove written by Akutagawa Rynosuke) translated by Raghuvir Sahay, is a bizarre saga of lust, greed, betrayal along with a touch of hope for the future.
The play occurs in two-time levels. Past and present and is represented in two different modes; straight realism and amplified portrayal.
