Refugee by Sukhmanch Theatre

"Refugee" as the name suggest is an attempt to showcase everlasting human struggle in present social scenario. A collage of selected stories by famous writers like Swadesh Deepak, Nasira Sharma, Yashpal, Kamleshwar, Asghar Wajahat & Mohan Rakesh.

Refugee hits hard on the social issues which are currently prevailing around us. It explores the reasons behind the growing insensitivity towards each other & aims to communicate the true human values which are long forgotten in today's time.

While transitioning between different time spaces, Refugee very intelligently explains that how things over the years have not changed much & we are still haunted by the unknown fear incorporated in our minds by our political masters.

Th play is based on stories by Swadesh Deepak, Nasira Sharma, Yashpal, Kamleshwar, Asghar Wajahat and Mohan Rakesh.
