Sita, the princess of Mithila…the queen of the supreme power. She represented soil, our glorious era of agriculture. And we, in the spree of imposing divinity to our Supreme Lord, neglected her humane story as a respectful lady. She belonged to the society in which so-called responsibility and political decisions reigned over love and honesty.
As her latest storytelling subject, Saoli Mitra has chosen this glorious yet neglected life. Saoli, with her team, will be narrating the story of this daughter of mother Earth, Sita – how she had to sacrifice her life for the “Political” decision of her Lord.
Sita, the representation of Earth, was born from the plow. She was destined for the Hero. But did she get what she deserved? She wanted peace to restore in the society but our destructive society returned her with hatred, accuses and pain. Wonder, will this prevail over love and honesty forever? Let's hope not….. maybe this is the only reason why we still live in this society with harmony without destroying each other – this may be called ‘The Human Predicament”.
