Rangshila Festival : Pai Paishachi Gostha

The story revolves around Janhavi, a Maharashtrian housewife who shares her personal life journey with the audience. She reflects on the “Hisheb” (accounts) her mother used to maintain and how she herself keeps track of finances. Janhavi is also surprised by how her daughter and daughter-in-law manage their accounts in a very different way. As the generations change, she becomes increasingly concerned about the values her children and grandchildren will inherit.

For Janhavi, money is important, but the true value lies in understanding the worth of money. She recalls how even a single paisa, once given by her grandmother, holds deep sentimental value. While that paisa may be insignificant today, its emotional worth is immeasurable. Adaptable and resilient, Janhavi faces life’s challenges with a smile, embracing whatever comes her way.
