Most of us probably think being a princess is a pretty good job. You get to live in a castle, wear expensive clothes and eat great food. But the problem is you have to behave like a princess all the time.
“The princess who never laughed” is a story of a King who abandons laughter from his kingdom and insists that his daughter should spend every minute every hour studying courtly knowledge and manners in preparation for the day she would inherit his throne and become a serious queen. But the story takes a twist when she turns 16 and dares to ask, where does it say that you can’t have some fun once in a while if you are a Princess?
Then what took her laughter away? And what makes her laugh again?
O live in a castle, wear expensive clothes and eat great food. Trouble is you have to behave like a princess all the time.
