In the epic Ramayana, everlasting and divine characters of Rama, Lakshman and Sita are remembered for their seemlessly heart touching journey of 14years of exile. However, besides these three, there was one more important character who endured the exile of her solitude— Urmila Lakshman's wife Urmila, who navigated the journey of 14 years in solitude and spent almost every breath of her life searching for answers to the questions which remained unanswered.

Urmilaayan throws light on her urge to seek answers where she questions her husband Lakshman after his return from exile.
