" The three kings.. chera ,chola and pandiyas are ....attempting to kill "velpari"the king who rules over the Parambu mountain. The reason for the three kings` opposition is this: Kulasekara Pandiyan, who governs Madurai, decided to give a special gift for his son`s wedding. He thought that offering a divine creature, which would be beneficial for maritime trade as it would be positioned facing north, would be an ideal gift.

It was discovered that this creature is located in Parambu`s territory. However, realizing that Parambu`s ruler might not agree to this, the king devised a plan to overcome this obstacle. The story unfolds with the valor of Parambu`s ruler and includes tales from Thiralayar Kulam and Nagar kulam, depicted as a drama."
