Against the mesmerizing backdrop of the Bombay of the black and white era, Shekhar Kumars tale is a heady whirlwind of romance, murder, deceit and suspense. A casual evening at the legendary Opera House quickly turns into a fast-paced chase for our unsuspecting hero when gunshots interrupt the show. A mysterious damsel in distress seeks his help and he reluctantly agrees only to find himself facing the Bombay mafia, and eventually, an international spy ring primed and ready to unleash a scheme so treacherous that it could bring the nation to its military knees overnight. Some are born heroes, some achieve hero status and Shekhar Kumar has heroic ambitions thrust upon him when he finds that he is the countrys last hope.

Detective 9-2-11 is a gripping, exhilarating gangster comedy always at improbability flirting with impossibility but buzzing with adrenaline throughout. Shekhar Kumar is the man of the hour, racing against the clock. Foe and friend alike have him on their wanted list and no place is safe. His attempts to dodge the ruses of sleazy sleuths and his irresistible persona charming the hearts of femme fatales all wrapped up in the gripping visual and narrative style of Noir renders Shekhar an ordinary man with an extraordinary story to tell.

About The Company Theatre:
The Company Theatre (TCT) was formed in 1993 with a singular commitment to theatre and the performance arts. It is an ensemble of professionals who work with an inter-disciplinary and multi-cultural approach to diverse art forms, rooted in a search for the truth of human experience.

TCT has since created performances ranging from physical mime and absurdist drama to clown narratives and musical comedies. These productions have travelled to audiences from historical venues like the Globe in London, UK to theatres in small towns of India. Alongside performances, TCT has also conducted workshops and master classes, organized theatre festivals and contributed to developing an energized performance culture around India.

    Only if we are not sold out. We advise patrons to book in advance as these shows sell out very quickly

    3.Would I be allowed in in-case I am late for the show?

    No, Late Entry is strictly prohibited as it disturbs the actors present on stage. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.

    4.Can I go out & come back during the show?

    No, Re-Entry is strictly prohibited.

    5.Do we get specific seat numbers or is it free seating?

    Yes, you get to choose specific seat numbers & category while booking.

    6.Will there be food & beverages at the venue?

    Yes. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the venue.

    7.How is the auditorium & seating

    The auditorium is fully air-conditioned with cushioned bucket seats.

    8.Are wheelchair ramps or elevator facilities available at the venue?

    Yes. We advise you to buy corner seats for the differently abled & senior citizens.

    9.Is parking available at the venue?

    Limited parking is available in the venue premises. Kindly plan to reach the venue well in advance to avail the same. There will be additional parking available near the venue on chargeable basis.

    10.Can I buy tickets using cash?

    Yes, you can buy tickets in cash from the Book my Show counters. The counters will go live at the venue 10 days prior to the show.

    11.Do you accept cards for purchase of tickets?

    We accept all debit/credit cards including Master Card, Visa, Maestro, American Express and Diners Card

    12.Can I upgrade my tickets?

    Yes. Depending on Availability only.

    13.Will I be able to get a refund for the tickets if I do not attend the play?

    No refund will be provided for tickets.
