India Film Project
The Biggest film making challenge of Asia, IFP on 1st October promises to be also the only place where films meet film making meets web. Over the third weekend of September, more than 25,000 filmmakers from 200+ cities came together to make 1000+ films in just a duration of 50 hours. They had to script, shoot, edit and upload the films all in a given duration. Over the next 2 weeks, these films were judged by jury members Madhur Bhandarkar, Sriram Raghavan, Nagesh Kukunoor and Vetrimaaran.
Nowhere else in the country will you see this confluence of content creators from different formats coming together and showcasing some of their best works, behind the scenes, the processes and the up comings. Meet the winners of IFP 16 at the awards night. They battled those 50 hours to create some of the best short-films, of course absorbing some sleepless nights, and went on to win the hearts of the jury. The winning films are going to be screened in the presence of the jury and some of the best filmmakers of country, making sure you have an amazing Saturday night.
In last 5 years, more than 22,000 filmmakers from 18 countries have participated and created 2500 films just in a duration of 50 hours. Versatile and award winning popular filmmakers such asShyam Benegal, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shoojit Sircar, Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwane, Nikhil Advani, Umesh Shukla, Omung Kumar, Sanjay Gadhavi, Bejoy Nambiar, Ketan Mehta, Onir, Guneet Mongaand film criticRaja Senhave served as juries at IFP previously.

A. Talk Shows
Always wanted to know what goes behind making a you tube video? Or what makes AIB this popular? What goes behind scripting a web-series? Or why comedy works more than any other genre for short-content? All of them come together on a common stage and share their experiences, journey and the technical of what goes into the work and how they manage to pull off such a huge audience.
The world moves on from glaring production qualities to simple storytelling. Everyone around us is telling a story, but some of them become exceptional story tellers. All it takes to tell a story now is a mobile camera, a voice recorder or even a tweet. Terribly Tiny Tales brings to you a workshop on storytelling for short films and a workshop on making short films.

D. Awards Night
25000 filmmakers from across India and 20 other countries are waiting for this sizzling ceremony, with some surprise performances and show casing the films, this surely is going to be an experience worth taking home. What more? Be there at Asia's largest short film extravaganza.
