Badminton

SAFETY

  • A player must not use any equipment or wear anything that is dangerous to himself or another player (including any kind of jewellery) as per the Laws of the Game

EQUIPMENT / ATTIRE

  • Players to carry their own racquets
  • Please wear non-marking shoes. If not, you'll have to play barefoot

REFEREE / MATCH OFFICIAL

  • The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play are final and the same cannot be challenged or appealed.
  • Straight knock-out.
  • Subject to time availability, the QFs, SFs and Finals might be longer games – the decision will be taken on the tournament day by the Chief Referee. His decision on the same will be final.

FOULS & MISCOUNDUCTS

  • As per the referee’s discretion and subject to the Laws of the Game, fouls may be given.

  • Players should report to the venue at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start of their respective matches. If a player/team fails to reach the venue during the time of the toss, they forfeit the match.
  • Players are not allowed to transfer from one team to another after the start of the tournament
  • The final decision of any process or dispute/protest will be taken by the organisers of the adidas Uprising and all participants must respect and adhere to the decision.

Cricket Leather Ball 7s Corporate Category

PLAYERS

  • Number of players: 7 players to play the match. Team needs to have a minimum of 7 players and maximum of 10 players. A team shall be awarded a walk-over if the opposition team has less than 7 players during the start of play.

TIE/DRAW

Winner to be decided on the basis of (in order of consideration)
  • Least wickets lost while batting
  • Team which has hit more 6s
  • Team which has hit more 4s
If teams are still even after considering the above, the winner will be decided by a coin toss

  • Each member needs to carry an official ID Card/Letter from Company HR on letterhead. Any player might be randomly asked for either of these documents to prove authentic employment with the company of which the team is participating. Failure to provide so might result in disqualification of the entire team from the tournament.

  • Teams should report to the venue at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start of their respective matches. If a team fails to reach the venue during the time of the toss, they forfeit the match.
  • Players are not allowed to transfer from one team to another after the start of the tournament
  • The final decision of any process or dispute/protest will be taken by the organisers of the adidas Uprising and all participants must respect and adhere to the decision.

  • White t-Shirt is a must
  • Teams to carry their own batting kits
  • Footwear (No Studs or Spikes)

REFEREE / MATCH OFFICIAL

  • The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play are final and the same cannot be challenged or appealed.
  • Severe actions will be taken against any player found guilty of disrespecting or misbehaving with the referee and/or opposition players.

TOURNAMENT/MATCH FORMAT

  • Hard Tennis Ball
  • Playing squad of 11 players
  • 6 overs a side
  • No LBWs

TIE/DRAW

Football Knockout

PLAYERS

  • Number of players: 5 players (including Goalkeeper). A team shall be awarded as a walk-over if the opposition team has less than 3 players on field at the designated kick-off time.
  • Number of Substitutes: A maximum of 3 substitutes are allowed.
  • ROLLING SUBSTITUTIONS - A player once substituted, will be allowed to take further part in the game, by coming on as a substitute himself.
  • To replace a player with a substitute, the following conditions must be observed:
    1. The referee must be informed before any proposed substitution is made.
    2. The substitute only enters the field of play after the player being replaced has left and after receiving a signal from the referee.
    3. The substitute only enters the field of play during a stoppage in the match.
    4. The substitution is completed when a substitute enters the field of play.
    5. All substitutes are subject to the authority and jurisdiction of the referee, whether called upon to play or not.

  • Shin-guards

No player shall be allowed to participate in his respective match without all 5 aforementioned items

REFEREE / MATCH OFFICIAL

  • The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play, including whether or not a goal is scored and the result of the match, are final and the same cannot be challenged or appealed.
  • Severe actions will be taken against any player found guilty of disrespecting or misbehaving with the referee and/or opposition players.

PERIODS OF PLAY

  • Appropriate amount of stoppage time will be provided as per the referee’s discretion.
  • Half-time interval shall not exceed a period of 3 minutes.

PENALTY SHOOTOUT

  • Each team will have 3 free throws, the team to score more points out of the 3 free throws wins the match. IF, at the end of 3 free throws each, both teams have scored the same number of goals, the match will move into Sudden Death.

SUDDEN DEATH

  • Each team will have 3 penalty kicks, the team to score more goals out of the 3 penalties wins the match. IF, at the end of 3 penalties each, both teams have scored the same number of goals, the match will move into Sudden Death.

FOULS & MISCOUNDUCTS

  • As per the referee’s discretion and subject to the Laws of the Game, a yellow card or a red card shall be shown.
  • Two yellow cards in a single match for a single player will result in a red card.
  • Red card: Player is sent off. This will result in the player missing the rest of the match, as well as the next match.

KICK INS

  • Kick-ins are awarded instead of throw-ins.

OFFSIDE

  • For the purpose of letting the match progress smoothly, the off-side rule shall NOT apply.

  • If at the end of the league stage, 2 or more teams have same number of points, the relevant team’s head-to-head shall apply, failing which, team with the highest goal difference shall progress, failing which the team with the highest number of goals scored will be taken into account and failing which the team with the lowest number of goals conceded will be cosidered. Failing all the above, a coin toss shall be conducted.

  • You are requested to carry your swimwear with you for the session (Costume, Swim cap, etc).

Play Yoga

EQUIPMENT / ATTIRE

  • You are requested to carry your yoga mat with you.
  • Please be dressed in comfortable workout wear.

Zumba

Phantom Workout

EQUIPMENT / ATTIRE

  • You are requested to wear comfortable training wear and shoes for the session.

OTHER IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Timings will be updated on BOOK MY SHOW and adidas Uprising Facebook page. Any changes in the fixtures or timings will be communicated well in advance via email.
  • You are requested to reach the venue at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the session.

Running

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • All participants must have been born on or before 1st Oct, 1998. adidas Uprising has the right to cancel any booking made fraudulently or through wrong declaration of age.
  • The final schedule would be published online on the adidas Uprising Facebook page, and the registered player would be notified through e mail as well. adidas Uprising will not entertain any claim arising from a change in schedule.
  • Registered Participants are requested to reach the venue on time. adidas Uprising shall entertain no claim on timing on account of late start by the participant.
  • Baggage Counter – a baggage counter would be provided near the start line. Registered participants are requested to not leave any valuables in their bags thus submitted. adidas Uprising shall entertain no claim arising out of loss of any belongings and the baggage is kept at the counter on the owner’s own liability.
  • Registered participants are requested to participate and adhere to the security checks being conducted at the venues.
  • Hydration and Water stations would be provided en route. Organizers are not liable for any claim arising from consumption of water, hydration drink at the station.
  • Non-registered participants are not allowed in the event holding area under any circumstance.
  • Registered participants can collect their bibs from a selection of adidas Performance stores in each city. Under no circumstance would a change in the pick-up centre be allowed.
  • Participants not having collected their bibs would not be allowed to participate in the event and their registration fee would be forfeited.
  • One of the following documents must be carried for age verification and identity verification while collecting the bib – Voter ID, Aadhaar Card or Passport.

Athletics

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • All participants must participate in their own age category only. adidas Uprising has the right to cancel any booking made fraudulently or through wrong declaration of age.
  • Age Categories defined as under are final and binding on all participants
    • Men’s & Women’s 30+ : Men/Women born before 1st Oct 1986
    • Men’s & Women’s U-30 : Men/Women born on or after 1st Oct 1986 but before 1st Oct 1996
    • Men’s & Women’s U-20 : Men/Women born on or after 1st Oct 1996
  • A waiver form needs to be signed by a recognized guardian for all participants born on or after 1st Oct 1998.
  • The final schedule would be published online on the adidas Uprising Facebook page, and the registered player would be notified through e mail as well. adidas Uprising will not entertain any claim arising from a change in schedule. Individuals can register for multiple races, however they need to take into account that the break between events maybe very short.
  • Registered Participants are requested to reach the venue on time. adidas Uprising shall entertain no claim on timing on account of late start by the participant.
  • Registered participants are requested to participate and adhere to the security checks being conducted at the venues.
  • Hydration and Water stations would be provided in a limited quantity. Organizers are not liable for any claim arising from consumption of water, hydration drink at the station.

  • ROLLING SUBSTITUTIONS - A player once substituted, will be allowed to take further part in the game, by coming on as a substitute himself.

  • League stage – No extra time or free throws will be provided.
  • Knockout stage – 3 free throws - no extra-time.

OTHER IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Fixtures and timings will be updated on adidas Uprising facebook page. Any changes in the fixtures or timings will be communicated well in advance via email.
  • Teams should report to the venue at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start of their respective matches. If a team fails to reach the venue within 10 minutes after the scheduled start time of their match, they forfeit the match.
  • Players are not allowed to transfer from one team to another after the start of the tournament.
  • The final decision of any process or dispute/protest will be taken by the organisers of the adidas Uprising and all participants must respect and adhere to the decision.

Cycling

The UpRide

  • Participants have to bring their own cycles and safety gear.
  • A basic cycle service zone will be available at the venue to help participants with their bike for the joy ride.
  • We strongly advice participants to wear helmets and other protective gear for the ride.
  • There won’t be any pit stops during the ride, To keep the ride flowing smoothly without breaking the large group. Do carry water during the upride. Hydration is a key; there will be ample water at the start and end points.

    3. Is there any upper age limit for participation?>

      • There is no upper age limit, although participants are requested to have a complete health check up and take the advice of their doctor.

    4. What if I get injured/ exhausted during the ride and cannot complete it?


      • You are advised to stop cycling and board the ‘Sweep Vehicle’ which comes after every ride. Route Marshals are placed all along the route to help you in all situations. An ambulance will be available for any unforeseen event.


    5. Will there be traffic on the route?

      • There will be traffic on the route. Everyone should abide by the rules of the road.

SAFETY

  • A player must not use any equipment or wear anything that is dangerous to himself or another player (including any kind of jewellery) as per the Laws of the Game.

EQUIPMENT / ATTIRE

  • Please wear appropriate equipment for the tournament

REFEREE / MATCH OFFICIAL

  • The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play are final and the same cannot be challenged or appealed..
  • Severe actions will be taken against any player found guilty of disrespecting or misbehaving with the referee and/or opposition players.

FOULS & MISCOUNDUCTS

  • As per the referee’s discretion and subject to the Laws of the Game, fouls may be given.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

  • All the team members in a corporate team should produce their valid Company Identity Card on the day of the event. adidas reserves the right to disqualify a team in the event that a participant from the team does not provide a valid Company Identity Card.
  • All the team members in a Corporate Category should be from the same organization/firm. adidas reserves the right to disqualify a team in the event that all team members do not belong to the same organization/firm.
