'Sportives- Kids Cyclothon 5.0'

ABOUT THE EVENT:

At Sportives, we believe in fostering a love for sports and physical activity from a young age. Our mission is to create fun, safe, and engaging events that inspire kids to get moving, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

Children can Ride independently, or parents can join in for the ride.

1) CATEGORIES:

MINI RIDE: 1km - Age Less than 7yrs - Non Timed

JUNIOR RIDE: 2km - Age 8 to 10yrs - Timed

PRE TEEN RIDE: 4km - Age 11 to 13yrs - Timed

TEEN RIDE: 8km - Age 14 to 17yrs - Timed

FAMILY FUN RIDE: Age 18 and above - Non Timed

CYCLES ON RENT: Available for Kids and Adults

2) REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS: T- Shirt, Finisher Medal, Goodie Bag and Refreshment

FOR RACE: Timing Chip and Trophies for top 3 (Male and Female) in each Race/ Timed category

FAMILY FUN RIDE: T- Shirt, Finisher Medal, Goodie Bag, Refreshment and Cycles on Rent

Cycles On Rent (Recommended wheel size)-

Age< 4yrs- 14t

Age 4 to 6yrs- 16t

Age 6 to 9yrs- 20t

Age 9 to 12yrs- 24t

Adults- 26t/ 27.5t/ 29t

Parents are free to participate in all activities along with Kids but registration is compulsory only if they want Cycles on Rent, T Shirt, Medal, Goodie Bag etc..

Fully catered and way-marked ‘SPORTIVES- KIDS CYCLOTHON’ event is a fantastic way to introduce children to cycling, encourage their independence and increase confidence.

These shorter rides are great if you’re just starting out on the cycling scene, or if you want to bring your family along.

SCHEDULE:

Reporting Time - 06:00am

Fun Activities (Skit Performance) - 6:30am to 7:00am

Warm Up/ Zumba - 7:00am to 7:15am

Race Category (Competitive) - 7:15am to 7:45am

Fun Ride Category (Non-Competitive) - 7:45am to 9:00am

Medal and Trophy Distribution - 9:00am onward

Refreshment - 9:00am onward

BMX Stunt Show - 9:15am to 9:30am

GOOD TO KNOW:

1) Helmets are RECOMMENDED

2) Kids must be accompanied by an adult taking the RESPONSIBILITY.

3) You know your own ability levels and those of your children and are in the best position to decide if they can tackle the ride.
