How to avoid weight gain this Diwali

The countdown begins! Wait we don’t mean the New Year countdown! We mean the 7 day countdown before Diwali where we can hog on all those sweets! Come on! Don’t act like you don’t know what we are talking about. It is soon going to be that time of the year when we will be decorating our homes with colours and lining our stomachs with those sweet delicacies and attending amazing dinner and lunch parties. While those parties are good to enjoy, they often leave us with those damn extra kgs. So we came up with a plan to figure out a way to avoid weight gain this festival season. And this does not require months and months of planning. No! in fact, it is just a matter of 7 days for those guilt free 4 days of hogging! Here is a sneak peakDay 1 – Salad invasionYou know what they say, start small and end big. So let’s include salad with our lunch and dinner. It can just be cucumber and tomato with the rest of your food. Now isn’t that easy?Day 2 – Fruit bliss. Now you love eating biscuits right. So replace your marie, parle g or bourboun with a fruit. Start your day with a fruit, and whenever you feel hungry, go the fruit way. Just make sure you don’t eat anything an hour prior and an hour after. Now to know more of what to do for the rest of the five days, watch the video. From your guide to a happy Diwali, MyStyle.
