He's perpetually annoyed and likes to vent by talking about politics and Indian idiosyncrasies.SORABH PANT:Touted as, ''One of India's top ten comedians'', by The Times Of India, Sorabh is one of the country's most traveledcomedians with his solo show, ''Pant on Fire'' having done over 150 shows in 16 cities in two years. He received just three death threats and lost most of his hair, but, it was worth it for the frequent flier miles. His comedy style veers toward exaggeration, hyperbole and some of the worst accent portrayals in human history. Suspicions of substance abuse upon seeing him on stage are rife but, thus far, unproven. Recently, he has also proved that he can read and write by releasing his debut novel, ''The Wednesday Soul

Mental MartiansMental Martians is a semi live drum and bass, dubstep and glitch hop collective. It was formed in January 2010 and consists of three members - Sarvesh Shrivastava, Piyush Bhatnagar and Tarang Singhal. It is India`s first Semi Live act which concentrates on sounds like drum and bass and dubstep.Tarang Singhal, the percussionist, plays various instruments like the Tabla, Djembe, Bongo, Darbuka and timbale, creating a whole new groove to the rhythm that comes out of the sound systems. Piyush and Sarvesh play a back to back DJ set on the decks, keeping it fresh by live mash ups and wicked sampling in their sets. Sarvesh and Piyush always had similar thoughts of having a collective and bringing something fresh to the crowd. Both of them were inclined to the way percussions sounded with Dnb and Dubstep. After their meeting with the percussionist, Tarang Singhal, they decided to form Mental Martians.Influenced by the Nasha experience (London), Nucleya, Chase and status, Bassnectar, Noisia and various heavyweights from the international dub arena, their sound is a heady journey that synthesizes the Asian underground to the dubstep in the UK.They have been taking the Indian bass-scene by storm and bringing a fresh new sound of Indian percussions along with broken beats. They have shared the stage with such names in the Dnb dubstep circuit like Bandish projekt, Denis Duster, BBC and Vachan Chinappa. The Martians, have a few original tracks in the making which will be up soon. They see themselves touring the country, spreading the music they play, breaking musical barriers and crossing all limits when it comes to experimenting with their sound. SICKFLIPSICKFLIP is a collaborative and experimental solo project brought to life by Sarvesh Shrivastava, (Founder of the Drum & Bass collective - Mental Martians). Musically, SICKFLIP ranges from bass heavy and chest rattling Glitch hop & Dubstep to deep experimental sounds. His music has a mix ranging from calm & serene atmospheres to heavy and hectic sequences. His styles are majorly influenced by artists like Bassnectar, Koan Sound, Nicolas Jaar, Trolley Snatcha, Tricky, Amon Tobin, Noisia and a lot more. He intends to collaborate with a lot more artists in the future and will soon be unleashing his Glitch Hop & Dubstep Live set. His recent debut EP - ``Outburst EP`` on the dutch label - Rub A Duck records has been well received worldwide.AlgoRythmA pot-pourri of fresh, eclectic, syncopated beats peppered with some funk. Thats what you can expect from Bombay DJs Paloma and Varun. Keen on experimentation - think 80s style retro-funk, breakbot, justice, pretty lights et all. And for those of you who need something a little grungier to get your feet-tapping, finger-snapping groove on theres always the promise of a little filthy dnb and some even filthier dubstep.
