You are cordially invited to attend and participate in the 15th Indian Film Festival of Bhubaneswar (IFFB)
2025, 22-28th January.
The festival will screen films from 10 am till 10 pm every day . The festival is free for all our members and open to all registered delegates.
We would like to request all to take membership during the festival. Your support helps us sustain our engagements. Your support is vital to the survival of the Film Society, consider gifting your friends’ a Film Society membership or refer your friends to become members.
A strong membership helps the film society to bring new programs to its audience. The festival screening schedule is will be published in our social media handles for your use.
About the festival
The films at the festival have won critical acclaim in major film festivals – Sundance, Rotterdam, IDSFFK (Kerala film festival), Busan, New York and other festivals. Focus of the festival is on young film makers working in diverse areas of the country from Kashmir to the North-east. The films at the festival explore issues of migration, gender, uneven development, issues of geo-politics, environmental degradation, political & ethical questions.
There will be post screening discussions with the filmmakers at the festival. There will be a retrospective on Adoor Gopalkrishnan.
The festival is a result of the collaboration between film maker friends, students from Film Society of Ravenshaw and the artist fraternity. The film festival hopes to encourage young filmmakers by providing mentoring opportunities with master film makers.
