Experience the magic of mangoes through an evening of storytelling, conversation, and cuisine.
The evening opens with Dastan-e-Aam—a spellbinding Qissagoi performance by Ashhar Haque, tracing the mango’s journey through myth, history, and memory.
This is followed by Guftaar-e-Aam, a lively panel discussion featuring oral historian Sohail Hashmi and writer Sopan Joshi, exploring the mango’s cultural and ecological legacy.
As twilight deepens, surrender to the melodies of Dholak Rani, an enthralling folk music ensemble featuring Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj, Isha Priya Singh, Ishan Sharma, and Archit Anand.
Their soulful renditions of traditional songs celebrate the seasons — especially the joy, longing, and rhythm of the Indian summer.
The night concludes with Daawat-e-Aam, a specially curated mango-themed menu by chef Sadaf Hussain – a true culinary homage to the king of fruits.
