Welcome to Sixes & Sledges: A Cricket Trivia Night, where the banter hits harder than the questions. Whether you`re the friend who tracks strike rates for fun or the one who only shows up for IPL final watch parties, this night is what you need before IPL ends.
What to expect: Quick-fire rounds, audio clips of iconic sledges, guessing with visuals on the big screen, and stat sheet head-scratchers
The prize: ₹1500 voucher to the winning team — split equally, valid anytime. That`s a free night out for knowing your cricket.
Teams will consist of 3 members each. You can register as a full team or come solo and we’ll help you join one.
Bring your A-game, your second-guessing tendencies, and maybe someone who actually remembers the 2011 World Cup squad beyond Dhoni and Sachin. Or come alone and we`ll pair you up with a team that needs exactly your kind of wrong answers.
See you at the crease!
Rounds:
Round 1: Emoji Lineup (Guess the Player)
We show you emojis. You decode the cricketer. Could be jersey numbers, signature shots, celebrations, or just vibes.
Round 2: "Who Said It?" & The DRS Review
Part A: Audio Sledges & Commentary
We play an audio clip. You tell us who said it — or who it was said to. Could be Harbhajan chirping at Symonds, Kohli having words with literally anyone, or a commentator losing their mind over that catch.
Part B: The DRS Review (True or False Madness)
We make a statement. You call it: TRUE or FALSE. But here`s the twist — some of these are so absurd they sound fake but are 100% real.
Round 3: The Pavilion (General Knowledge & Stat Attack)
This is where we separate the casual fans from the stat-obsessed. We cover the basics: iconic players, major tournaments, memorable matches, and moments that every cricket fan should know.
Round 4: IPL Chaos Theory (Because It`s That Season)
This round leans into the beautiful, ridiculous mess that is the Indian Premier League — team history, player drama, auction madness, meme-worthy moments, and questions that`ll make you say "Of course I know this, I was there (on Twitter)."
