To most of us, the word Dongri is considered synonymous with the Mumbai Underworld. However, this walk will cover a lot more than just the ‘Don’ in Dongri. From once being a Portuguese-owned hillock on the northern tip of Bombay Island to becoming the epicentre of events that changed this city forever, Dongri has witnessed it all. While the façade of the area changed close to a century ago, some hidden treasures have stood the test of time. Join us in climbing up a hill that once was and exploring a melting pot of cultures and traditions that have survived and evolved to create the hub of Dongri.
