Kalidas ka Kathalok is an immersive cultural festival that brings alive the Bharat of Kalidas’. A time of poetry, performance, conversations, music, and lived traditions. While inspired by the spirit of Mahakavi Kalidasa, the festival expands into a larger cultural landscape of ancient India.
Set within the historic Purana Qila, Delhi, the event unfolds as a walk-through cultural journey featuring storytelling and theatre, classical, contemporary and folk music, rhythm-led performances, workshops, and experience zones. Visitors can explore curated spaces such as Kalidas Vatika, Brahmi script writing, Ayurveda experiences, ancient food traditions, and live performance arenas.
